Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Tetrahedron Group Ltd, trading as Infinity Leads ("we", "us"), handles personal information collected through infinitytreecare.co.nz. We are a New Zealand company and this policy is written to be consistent with the Privacy Act 2020. It is general information rather than legal advice, and it applies to this site.

1. What we collect

When you submit a free quote request we collect your name, phone number, email address, the work you are enquiring about, your property location, and anything else you choose to add in the description.

When a business registers through our buy leads page we collect the business name, contact name, phone number, email address, coverage area, and any notes provided.

We also collect standard, non-identifying website usage data through ordinary web analytics, such as which pages are visited and general location at a city level. We do not use it to build a profile of individual visitors.

2. How we use it

Infinity Tree Care is a matching service. We do not carry out tree work ourselves. Quote request information is used to match your enquiry to one vetted arborist covering your area and the work you need, and to pass your details to that arborist so they can contact you and quote.

Business registration information is used to assess coverage and get in touch about available leads. We also use submitted information for ordinary business purposes: record keeping, responding to enquiries, and improving how the matching works.

3. Who we share it with

For quote requests, we share your details with the single arborist your enquiry is matched to. That is the point of the service and it is how the arborist is able to contact you. We do not sell or share your details with a broader list of businesses, and your enquiry is not sold to several competing companies at once.

We also use third party service providers, such as our form processing and hosting infrastructure, to operate the site. They handle data on our behalf and only as needed to provide that service.

We do not share personal information with the other sites in the Infinity network (infinityleads.co.nz, infinitypestcontrol.co.nz, infinitysecurity.co.nz, infinitypainters.co.nz, infinitylife.co.nz, infinitybathrooms.co.nz) unless you have separately submitted information to one of those sites directly.

4. How we store and protect it

We take reasonable steps to keep personal information secure against loss, unauthorised access and misuse, including restricting access to the systems that store it. No online system is completely risk free and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we do not treat that as a reason to collect more than we need.

5. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask for access to personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. To make a request, get in touch through our contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first.

Once your enquiry has been passed to an arborist, that business holds its own copy of your details and is responsible for it under the Privacy Act in its own right. Requests about what they hold need to go to them.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

6. Cookies

This site uses basic cookies or similar local storage to keep it working correctly, and standard analytics to understand overall site usage. You can control or disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as well if you do.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
